A Little Taste of Spring and some Q & A

Hello My Dears!

Like I mentioned the other day,
it's starting to melt into Spring.
I've still got months to go before I can get dirt under my fingernails and play in my garden,
but it's close enough that I can start day dreaming and making plans.
I wanted to add a little Spring to my space at Station 8.
I started with this sad little table that's been on my back porch for a few years.

I fell in love with it's rustic charm a few years ago,
but I've only used it for a few parties and decided it needed to find a new home.
So after a good scrubbing and adding a chicken wire window,
this is how she looks all spiffed up at Station 8.

I think she would make a great addition for any gardener.
Plenty of room to store pots, potting soil, and tools.

The chicken wire is a great spot to clothespin your garden gloves
(I am always losing mine)
and a nifty way to store your seed packets.

She was the little hopeful touch of Spring my little space needed.

I also added a few tissue paper poms to add a pop of color.

I have a few Easter ideas I'd like to get in soon too.
I just need some TIME!
Ya know the feelin'????

Ok, on to a little Q & A.
A sweet blogger, Lisa,  tagged me to participate in a fun way to get to know a few bloggers.

Here are the rules:
1. You must post the rules!
2. Answer the 11 questions the tagger posted for you and then create 11 new questions to ask the people you've tagged.
3. Tag 11 bloggers and link them in your post.
4. Let them know you've tagged them.

Here's what Lisa wanted to know about lil' ol' me:
1. How did you come up with the name for your blog?
My friend Colette actually came up with the name 'Blissful Blooms' when I showed her my first attempt at my blooms.  I liked it so much I decided to use it for my blog  too.

2. Do you have a shop that you sell your creations on?
Why yes, yes I do.  Thanks for asking!  If you'd like to browse around you can click on this lil' link.

3. What is your favorite post on your blog of all time?
Hmmm . . . I don't remember all my posts!  I'd have to say the one I wrote for my birthday.  I completely felt the Lord's nudging to write it and HE gave me all the words.  If you missed it, you can read it here.

4. If you could spend a day with any blogger, who would it be and why?
Oh man, do I have to choose just one?  Can I plan a 'conference' or 'craft weekend' and have them all meet in one place so we can have a huge junking adventure together?  Wouldn't that be a hoot?
Well, I have REAL plans to go visit my friend Alicia.  So I am counting the days til I get to go! Why would I want to spend the day with her you ask?  Um, because she is such a real honest to goodness friend.  We're like the same person- except I'm way nerdier than her.   We just connect on so many levels.  If you haven't read her blog, you need to.  She just started the funnest thing called 'The Happy Project.' You should go participate. :)

5. What do you find to be the most challenging part of blogging?
Sometimes I worry about putting pictures out there for the world to see.  So I guess the challenge would be feeling vulnerable at times.

6. When do you blog and why?
I've got a system.  I write my first draft at night, then I proof and publish in the morning.  I read other blogs in the morning and at night- basically when the munchkins are asleep.  Why?  Because I have too many other things I need to accomplish during the daylight hours.

7. Does your family understand your need for blogging and capturing all on pictures?
Yes they do.  I think they're kinda use to me always having a camera with me and documenting every move they make.

8. Why did you start blogging and is it all you thought it would be?
I started blogging because of my hope to open an Etsy shop.  But I ended up just blabbing on the blog for almost a year before I got the gumption to open the shop.  I have met the most amazing people through this blog.  So it is WAY more than I ever thought it was going to be.

9. What is your go to social media other than blogging?
Facebook

10. What is your favorite past-time?
Enjoying God's creation with my family and junking of course!

11. If you could live any where other than where you live now, where would it be and why?
Probably Boston, MA.  Josh and I lived there for a few years before kiddoes, and we LOVED it.  I miss it quite a bit actually.  But Montana will always be my first choice.  I love where I live.
Did I just write a novel?
Ok, here's the gals I'm going to grill with my questions:
Alisha- Embrace Ink
Alicia- La Famille

Here's the questions we're all dying to know:

1.  Why and when did you start your blog?
2.  What is the latest dream your scheming?
3.  Are you working on achieving that dream?
4.  What is the most embarrassing/nerdy post you wrote?
5.  What is your favorite sweet treat?
6.  If you had to pick just 3 elements to a delightful 'mommy time' what would they be?
7. If you could plan ANY vacation, where would you go?
8. If you could be anything 'when you grow up' what would it be?
9. What's something we would be surprised to learn about you?
10.  Do you have any strange phobia's or fears?
11. What's something you hope to accomplish in the next year?

Alrighty then!
Happy answering!

I hope you have a delightful day
with a little spring in your step!
