Let's Celebrate Kait!

We had a fun family night.
We decided to stay home from bible study and spend some quality family time
to celebrate Kait.
It was a good decision.
It wasn't anything wild and crazy.
But we were all together at home.
We weren't rushing out the door.
I wasn't trying to do 8 other things at the same time.
We ate, we played, we laughed.
It had been a while.

We baked a birthday cake

We made ice cream with Halloween candy

We ate a little dinner of Kaitlyn's choice
then ate a lot of cake and ice cream.

Love you beautiful birthday girl.
Ok, you can stop growing now.

Birthday call from Nana and Papa

We finished the night by playing a new game Kait got from her grandparents.
Scrabble Flash
It was a huge hit!  Thank you Grandpa and Grandma Judy!

It was a special night.
It felt so good to make a good choice for our family,
slow down,
and spend quality time together.

And before I go, I just want to say THANK YOU
for all the encouraging comments, phone calls, and texts yesterday.
God spoke through you guys and lifted my spirits.
I am so thankful for each one of you.
Thank you for making me feel loved and special.
Man oh man am I one blessed girl!

Have a splendid day my friends!
