I think one of my favorite junking scores was a
HUGE
falling apart dictionary.
That thing has provided for so many crafts.
As I was blog hopping one day I came across this creative gal
and fell in love with her book page leaves.
So I decided to have the girls try it.
And here's the latest dictionary page craft.
I gave each girl a leaf to trace on to a dictionary page.
(a little bit of advice- when working with dictionary pages, scan the page to see what words are being defined-
just sayin . . .)
Then they painted fallish colors with watercolor paints.
After the paint dried, they went over their traced lines with colored pencil.
The girls were pleased with their art work and
I was THRILLED!
I can't wait to mat these with brown paper and
add them to my fall decor.
Have a wonderful Wednesday my friends!
