More Farm Chick Fabulousness!

As promised, I have a few more pics to share with you from my Farm Chick weekend.

Collete and Rachel are absolutely amazing!
It was so fun to watch them in action.
Here they are on Friday in front of the Station 8 space.
Aren't they cutie-patooties?

And here are a few shots of the finished booth.

Love those drawers!  If you had a big kitchen, wouldn't they make a fun island?

And the couch!  Swoon! Don't ya just love those ruffles?

Let's play "Eye Spy." Do you spot anything near and dear to my heart?

The blooms!
Miss Collete is absolutely the best cheerleader a gal could have.
She even wore one of the original blooms with her adorable outfit.

Rachel and Collete before the big day.
I know, they're stinkin' cute!

Here's a few pics of what I came home with.
It was HARD to decide.
And I'm slow to make decisions and slow to spend money.
That's not a good combination when you're in a place filled with vintage lovin' woman buying things like crazy!
But I am delighted with my choices.

First up- a bracelet made from typewriter keys!!
(I have to admit that Rachel bought one of these last year and I drooled over it for a year)

And Clara is modeling a huge yard stick that I will be using as a growth chart for my girls.
It's just shy of 6 feet tall!

Next, a double bike basket that I fell in love with instantly.
Which is funny because last year I came home with a bike basket that now hangs on my wall above my desk to hold magazines.
I seem to be drawn to metal baskets.
And it fits over my deck railing perfectly!
I can't wait to fill it with flowers.

I also brought home a Red Wing crock and a sweet chippy metal flower tin.
I have always adored those crocks but not the price tag that went along with them.
This one was super reasonable and it has a 6 on it!

I'm always drawn to things with the number 6.
So I had to buy this old gas station number.
I already had a blue one- but the yellow is so happy!
And the last thing I bought isn't home with me yet, but I have a bad picture of it.

It's hard to tell, but it's fun jacket hooks with locker style baskets on top.  There are four baskets and hooks- perfect for my 4 sweeties.

Here's Grace next to a cabinet she thought would be perfect for the 4 Giffin girls.
It's pink and has a huge G!

Yep.  We just may have to recreate that purty piece.

Now I'm in the process of cleaning my house so I can display all my new treasures properly. Nothing like a little incentive to get the chores done.

Enjoy the rest of your day my dear friends!

  1. Saw your post on the "Farm Chicks" Blog this evening...

I really enjoyed your story telling, and your photos!!! This was our first time (sis and I). Talk about garage sale on steroids...geesh...we were overwhelmed with so much junk/stuff!! We had a ball. Sis came up from Tri-Cities and I came over from Montana, met in the middle. Stayed at the Davenport and had the best sister weekend, I'm pretty sure this will be a yearly tradition now in Spokane!

I posted on my blog too...so fun to view everyone's photos, it wasn't hard to tell which displays got the most attention, we all took the same pics, well most of us that is.

    Nice to meet you Amy.

  2. We saw the girls from Station 8 at breakfast in the hotel on Saturday morning and they were so cute!!
We later came by their shop and my daughter got some number signs for her room.
Love your blog and all the pictures you posted from the weekend.
