I will have to do an entire post on her store- it's scrumptious! Colette and I became fast friends because I visit her store as often as I can. I usually take a detour on my way to the library, or grocery store, or the gym, etc. just to get inspired. I showed Colette my first pin and she was sweet enough to allow me to sell a few in her store. Since that day, I've had SO MUCH FUN creating these little flowers. I love that I have a creative outlet! This opportunity has also given me the courage to be creative and try new things. I am very thankful for my friend Colette- I can't wait to introduce you to her. So here are a few pictures of the clips and pins I made for Easter.
These lil' guys are so fun to wear! I have them in SO MANY COLORS! I like to add them to my sweater, purse, jacket, etc just to add a pop of color to my usual mom uniform of jeans and a cardigan.
My sweet mother-in-law made the Easter dresses for the girls. So I was able to use the scrap fabric to make pins and clips to match. Kaitlyn felt so "grown-up" to wear a flower pin like her momma.
I have a dream to open an Etsy shop and attempt to sell these- along with a few other ideas that I can't wait to try. So hopefully someday soon there will be a little link on the right of my blog that will connect you to Blissful Blooms the SHOP! Wouldn't that be fun!
So there you have it- the story behind my name!
Hope you have a splendid day!
