So Long Summer

It's here.

Our last day of summer.

School officially begins in our household tomorrow.

I'm almost ready.

Almost.

To be honest, I've been feeling a bit extra blue about summer being over.

We had a really great summer.

The thing that made it so great was lots and lots of family time.

So as I bid summer officially good-bye, I thought I'd share the last bits that made our summer so good.

 Lots of swimming and spending time on the river.

 We camped one more time at our favorite spot.

I'm really hoping we have an Indian Summer so we can squeeze 

just one more camping trip.

This past weekend we were blessed by a visit from my folks.

 We asked the girls what they wanted to do and they came up with the Alpine Slide.

If you ever come visit me in the summer, I will most definitely take you here to 'slide down the mountain.'

So tomorrow is our first day of school.

I've got a wee bit more to prepare.

I guess I officially have to say 

so long to our wonderful summer.

I think I'll go buy some candy corn to cope.

Alright 2013-14 school year.
