Hello!
I'm back from my unplanned bloggy break.
Not sure what was up with me,
just a case of being delightfully busy with my family and maybe a
tid bit of being unmotivated.
But let's jump right back in shall we?
I have a fun craft to share with you today.
Just after Easter I had a small collection of egg cartons.
Sometimes I become a hoarder and keep bits of trash that I KNOW we can use in a craft.
It comes in quite handy sometimes
(most of the time it just clutters up my craft closet).
If you're a Pinterest parooser
(and who isn't???)
I'm sure you've seen the sweet wreaths made from egg carton flowers.
Using those as our inspiration, we got started on our project:
First I cut various flowers and leaves from the cartons.
This was a bit awkward for the girls, so I did this part.
Then we glammed up our egg carton blooms with happy color.
We then glued them onto a ribbon
to make a sweet banner for our classroom.
I love the happy color it adds to our room.
Sometimes my trash hoarding pays off!
Hope you have a bright and beautiful day!
This is just amazing. So lovely and so you! Welcome back. :)

ReplyDeleteWell, aren't you just the brightest and coolest? Seriously, who needs a real school when you have Mrs. Giffin as the art teacher? Absolutely fabulous! You get the award for being the mom who allows the paint all over. I don't even own kids paint in my home...YIKES! Glad they're coming to your home in the next couple of weeks...PARTY!!
