Oh Happy Wednesday!

It's that time again!

Time for Alicia's  fun assignment for the week!
This week, our challenge was to fluff something in our home.
If you know me, you know I love to fluff!

Since our weather was behaving like this yesterday

crazy storm with lots of lightening, thunder and hail

it was a perfect day to get some inside projects done.

I have this corner cabinet that needed a little 'umph'.

 I love the cabinet

but it just seemed a little blah.

A few weeks ago when I went to Target for toothpaste, I ended up finding some fun wrapping paper on clearance for 75 cents!
(I also found a few other random items and almost forgot my toothpaste- does that ever happen to you?)
I have a friend who lines her kitchen cabinets with fun wrapping paper during Christmas time.
So I stole her fun idea

and knew my new wrap would be perfect to line the shelves of my cabinet.
I also used these handy dandy mini glue dots that you can purchase from my dear friend here.

So after a bit of measuring and cutting
here's how it turned out

It added just a bit of cheerful color.
(and yes, I may have a small love for cake plates)

And I know when I get tired of the yellow,
those glue dots will make it super simple to take down and replace with another fun wrap.

Thanks Alicia for the motivation to get this project done!

Speaking of fluffing . . .
I added a few more vintage treasures to the shop

Just thought I'd let you know
in case you need something new to fluff with!

Don't forget to check out all the talented girls who link up with Alicia's Happy Day Project!

  3. 75 cents? Clever you! It does look much better. I just redid the back of my shelves with bead board wallpaper I got from Lowe's, and I love it! It was also much cheaper than bead board, which was important because I needed to cover a lot.
