10 On 10: August

It's the 10th!
So you know what that means.
I'm linking up with Rebekah from a bit of sunshine

I reminded myself of her vision for 10 on 10.
Here's a bit of what she had to say:

"The project has since grown to be a fun and interactive way for blogger's from all around the globe to document a snap shot of their lives too, once a month on the tenth taking a photo an hour for ten consecutive hours. Finding much life and beauty among the ordinary things of our day!"

I needed a little reminder today to find beauty in the everyday mundane.
So here's a little peak into our day.

I know, I start every 10 on 10 with this picture.
But it's how I start my day- every day.
It's the best, you should try it.

A few bites of cake
At  . . .ahem . . . 8:30 AM.

 Giving the flowers a drink.

Making birthday cards for Daddy.


It's not pretty.
But I'm keeping it real here folks.
And I'm STILL working on that pile.


Cooling off at the pool.

Beauty in the mundane.
Picking up toys.

Now this is beautiful!
Prepping the coffee so it will be ready for me 
right when I roll out of bed.

Getting the knuckleheads ready for bed.


Ahhh . . . .!  Ice Cream thirty.
It happens 5 minutes after I put the girls to bed.
Every. Night.

That's it!

    I like the idea of 'ice cream thirty'! Who needs a glass of wine when you've got cookies and cream!?

    Great shots and it was nice to get a snapshot of a 'day in the life' of your blog on my first visit. x

    A wonderful selection of shots. That load of washing doesn't look like much fun. But there is always ice cream thiry to look forward to.

    are those 4 little girls you are getting ready for bed? You are officially my new super hero. I thought 2 was crazy! Looks a lot like my day, coffee to start, ice cream to finish :) and mky laundry pile is pretty big at this moment. Thanks for stopping by my blog, glad to find you :)
